SiteVids ("we", "us") operates sitevids.com, a service that turns public webpage URLs into short product videos and launch teasers. This policy explains what we collect, why, and how we share it.

1. What we collect

• Account data — when you sign in with email: email address and authentication identifiers.
• Usage data — URLs you submit, generation job metadata, purchase history, and export credits.
• Technical data — hashed IP addresses for anonymous rate limits (we do not store raw IPs), user-agent, and basic request logs needed to operate the service.
• Payment data — handled by Stripe. We store Stripe customer IDs and session references; we never see or store full card numbers.

2. How we use data

• Generate, store, and deliver your preview and export videos.
• Enforce free-preview quotas and paid export credits.
• Process payments, prevent abuse, and provide customer support.
• Improve reliability and product quality.

3. Overseas recipients

To run SiteVids we use third-party service providers. Some may store or process personal information outside Australia (for example in the United States or other countries). Categories include:

• Account authentication and identity
• Payment processing
• Cloud hosting, storage, and content delivery
• Analytics and operational logging (where enabled)
• AI and media processing needed to generate your videos

These providers receive only what is reasonably necessary to provide the service. We do not sell personal information. For a current list of overseas recipients, email [email protected].

4. Cookies & tracking

Anonymous visitors do not receive marketing tracking cookies. Signed-in sessions use cookies required for authentication. Payment flows may set cookies required by our payment provider's hosted checkout.

5. Retention

Account records and paid export credits are kept while your account is active (credits do not expire under normal operation). After you unlock a clean export, we keep a record of that purchase in your account. Generated video files and project assets are stored on our servers so you can re-download while they remain available; we may remove inactive or old assets over time as storage is cleaned up. We recommend downloading and saving unlocked MP4s to your own device. Unclaimed guest previews are more likely to become unavailable sooner. You can request deletion of account data by emailing [email protected].

Depending on your location, you may request access, correction, or deletion of personal data we hold. Contact [email protected]. Australian users may also contact the OAIC for privacy complaints.
